For Easter this year, we decided to take a drive to NYC to meet our newest little nephew. Daniel's parents made the trip too, so we got to spend some fun family time in the city.
Check out the view from Sharon and Matthew's apartment!
Aubrey loved looking out the window and watching all of the cars. She was a huge fan of taxis in general. She called each one a "cool yellow car" and was beside herself whenever she got to ride in one.
In addition to visiting the Museum of Natural History (I didn't get any photos, sadly), we spent a lot of time at the park. Aubrey, of course, had a blast.
Daniel and I also had some fun.
And after a big day playing in the city, Aubrey got very tired out. Hooray for good naps!
Daddy got a good nap too. :)
When it was rainy, we played inside. Aubrey particularly loved playing with the blocks.
On Easter morning, Aubrey got her first Easter basket. She was very excited and kept saying--for a long time after--"The bunny brought you a treat!"
She also got to wear her super cute Easter dress from Nana. D'awww.
After church, we got a photo of the whole family. Aubrey wasn't very excited about it, but we got her to sit still for at least a second.
And, of course, baby William took up a lot of our attention and time while we were there... 'cause cute. He's such a sweetie! And Aubrey loved him. She was very concerned every time he cried. She'll be such a good big sister!
We had a great time with the family (and ate some delicious food!), and then it was time to head back home. The city is always fun to visit, but we're definitely suburb people.
