Jibby Jabbing: We Bought a House

For awhile now I've wanted to post photos of our new house, but there were always reasons not to--we had company over, it wasn't clean, we hadn't finished decorating, etc. But after being shamed (all in good fun) by my mother-in-law at Christmas, I decided to just do it anyway. So here it is.

First we begin with the outside (this photo was taken on Daniel's phone awhile ago, but it works):

Here's the view looking from the living room toward the kitchen (with the money my parents gave us for Christmas, we're finally going to get a console table to go under the painting... yay!):

Here's the view from the top of the stairs on the third floor. Aubrey's door is on the right, the guest room is down the little hall, the tiny door is a linen closet, and the door on the left is the master bedroom.

The upstairs bathroom, which used to be pink (I made this valance too, but it's not as good as the other one. Oh, and the shower used to have doors, but they were gross, so we replaced them with a curtain):

And the master bedroom. The walls used to be lavender, which wasn't quite our speed. So we went for three beige walls and a dark red accent wall (which looks darker in person than in the photo):
